A Level PE trip

On Monday 27th June the Year 12 A Level PE students visited the Human Performance Unit at Essex University for an Exercise Physiology workshop.

As part of the A Level PE course the students have been learning about assessing body composition so it was invaluable to be able to have hands on experience of hydrostatic weighing and the other tests that were available during the day.

It also proved a good insight into what is available at universities which complimented this week’s Year 12 focus on the UCAS process for those who are considering taking this route.
