Community
Pupils, parents, staff, governors, ex-students and associated parties are all part of an evolving and dynamic community which has Christian principles at its heart. The Christian ethos is not defined in terms of doctrine, but embraces shared values:

The College is an aspirational community with a strongly developed sense of identity and purpose. Its membership includes past and present members, and our hope is that pupils, staff and parents will appreciate what a Framlingham education achieves to the extent that there will be a natural desire to remain in contact with the Framlingham family, contributing to and helping to shape its future.
Academic Rigour
The College aims to stretch, support and develop the academic potential of each pupil, willingly accepting children of differing starting abilities balanced across the spectrum. Whilst it is recognised that there must be a base line level of ability in order to access what is essentially a traditional yet dynamic curriculum, we encourage applications from purposeful young people whose major strengths may not be defined in purely academic terms.
Opportunity
The College believes that breadth of opportunity is essential to inspire and motivate the young. A rich diversity of activities beyond the confines of curriculum unlocks enthusiasm, builds self confidence and uncovers hidden talents, developing strengths which then impact on all aspects of a student's development.
